Defibrillator Now on Site

We are pleased to announce that John Darke now has a defibrillator on site to protect its staff and customers. We are now maintaining more electric vehicles and therefore a defibrillator is an essential first aid piece of equipment.

A cardiac arrest can happen to anyone. Every year approximately 55 out of every 100,000 people experience an out of hospital cardiac arrest, with most occurring in the home of workplace so having a defibrillator can save precious minutes in reviving a person with ventricular fibrillation or ventricular tachycardia.

Using an automated external defibrillator can increase the chances of survival by two to four-fold
