  • Service Department - I have had my car serviced at 3 different Volvo garages and so far the experience has been fairly poor quality and not good value for money. I noticed my car was blowing black smoke under acceleration directly after it was returned to me and chose to take it to an independent garage who diagnosed the split manifold pipe in under 3 mins. How did this get past a vehicle health check? How this left a Volvo dealership like this I am unsure. Its a real shame as I like the car a lot but then you chose to discontinue the V50 model I like anyway. the other issue is no one tells you what needs doing at servicing. I had to ask if my brake fluid needing doing and ask for it to be done. Why is this not mentioned as part of a standard service. Simon Corbitt, 10/03/2017
